Beware: goats are trouble. They don’t do tricks like dogs do. I tried to train the goats I had as a kid. But they were good for riding in the snow…once you fall off, you just land in a snow drift. The last time I tried that, I was 10 years old.
You know what’d be great about having one of those goats for a pet: it’s not like they’d get too far if they tried to run away. It takes off running and you could just say, use an air horn for a second and it’d be stopped (on its back) in its tracks!
I am a doubting disciple, a reveler in grace. I'm a wife, lover, partner-in-crime. I'm a daughter, sister, friend. Feisty Irish girl, gut-laugher. I am a student of words, of ideas, of music. I am an answerer of phones, greeter of backaches, maker of appointments. Etcetera.
